About Us
HistoryThe Elgin Community College Bookstore is an auxiliary service unit of the college. It was established in the middle of the 1960's. The profits from the Bookstore operation are used to support many student functions and initiatives within the college. |
MissionTo provide our guests with the opportunity to procure textbooks, supplies and equipment in support of various instructional programs. |
LocationWe are located on the main campus in the Student Resource Center (SRC 140) building at 1700 Spartan Drive, Elgin, IL 60123-7193. |
Textbook RentalThe ECC Bookstore offers a in store textbook rental program for select titles. The rental fee is equal to 50% of the textbook sale price. A signed rental agreement is required and books must be returned to the ECC Bookstore at the end of the semester. Many textbooks can also be rented online with credit card only using the "Rent Your Textbooks" link. Rental titles from the in store rental program can not be rented online. Online rental books are returned via UPS with the provided shipping label. Please contact the ECC Bookstore for more information, 847-214-7395. |
